Well it’s been a more successful week on the Predictions front for some of the StrictlyDB team, but it’s been even better for our developer Steve, who has genuinely never seen a show, but has agreed to take on the challenge of trying to predict who will top and tail the judges’ leaderboard each week and who will get the Strictly shove.

The fact that we forgot to tell him that Week 3 is Movie Week in the Strictly world (because we mistakenly assumed he might know this) didn’t seem to have any negative impact on his performance this week…we’ll have to harder next time 🙂 !!

Week 3 predictions

Last week we discussed our predictions for Saturday night and the elimination – and they looked like this:

Leaderboard

So how did we do? Well the top of the Saturday night leaderboard looked like this:

• 1st place: Tasha & Aljaž (3 points to predictors)
• Joint 2nd place: Punam & Gorka, Shayne & Nancy, Sarah & Vito (2 points to each predictor)

Steve and Matt got 3 points each as they predicted Tasha for the top. James predicted Sarah for second spot so bagged 2 points. Liv went for JB – and although his was the third highest scoring dance, he ranked in 5th.

The bottom of the leaderboard looked like this:

• Last place: Toyah & Neil (3 points to predictors)
• Second to last: Paul & Karen (2 points to predictors)
• Third to last: Paul & Karen (1 point to predictors)

Liv and Steve said Toyah would come bottom so they both grabbed 3 points. James and Matt said Paul, so got 2 points each.

Elimination – Shame about Barbados but enjoy your surfing in Newquay Toyah – the whole team predicted you would be eliminated – so we all got 1 point each.

Bonus – Steve got all three predictions correct – so earned himself  an extra 1 point.

This means our Week 3 leaderboard looks like this:
