Strictly predictions game – Week 8 scores on the doors
11 November 2024Proving that data isn’t always helpful to the mystical soothsaying that is Strictly leaderboard predictions, a set of somewhat topsy-turvy results saw James and Liv’s tip for top (Jamie) floundering at the bottom for the first time (should there be a point deduction for that outcome 😉) and no-one picking up any points for their ‘top’ predictions at all!
Can the team do better at Blackpool? Here’s hoping…
Predictions and scores
Matt and James tied at the top on 4 points as they – like everyone except Liv & Steve – correctly predicted Shayne to be bottom and to go home after performing a risky Rumba.
Liv’s risk of picking Pete to be bottom definitely did not pay off and Steve’s persistence (stubbornness?) over picking Pete to be bottom and go home cost him dear this week as Matt catches him on points!
Team predictions and scores for week 8 ended up like this:
Predictions leaderboard
Matt creeps up to draw with Steve but James extends his lead as Steve hits nil points:
Player | Total | W1 | W2 | W3 | W4 | W5 | W6 | W7 | W8 |
James | 37 | 2 | 5 | 5 | 6 | 8 | 4 | 3 | 4 |
Steve | 28 | 2 | 6 | 8 | 1 | 3 | 5 | 3 | 0 |
Matt | 28 | 0 | 2 | 6 | 0 | 2 | 8 | 6 | 4 |
Liv | 24 | 2 | 2 | 4 | 1 | 5 | 6 | 3 | 1 |
