In part 2 of this post, I look back at which contestants are rated as the ‘best of the best’ by the Strictly judges, counting down from 10 to 1. If you haven’t read part 1 (from 20 to 11), it’s here.

This countdown has been created by:

• Calculating the average score (out of 10) that each judge awarded to each celebrity.
• Then sorting contestants from ‘first to worst’ for each judge based on the average scores they awarded.
• Finally, working out which contestant has the lowest average judges’ ranking

Clarifications

• I have only included scores that were awarded by permanent judges.
• Scores (and rankings) have also been excluded for Darcey and Anton when they were guest judges (Series 7 and 18 respectively).
• If two contestants ended up with the same average rank, the higher placing in the countdown was given to the person who Craig had ranked higher.
