A divided dance that divided the judges’ opinions too. Not sure what Motsi and Shirley could see that we couldn’t, but this didn’t feel like a 10 dance. Jowita worked her socks off and did 80% of the dancing (which was largely lifts anyway) – which for Shirley was Hamza doing exactly the right job – but it did feel like he was assisting Jowita’s performance rather than her equal partner. Agree with Anton and Craig that the footwork was untidy and not very AT (Craig: “feet should caress the floor”) but Anton’s comment about being a “centre forward for Bradford City” was rather harsh.
