Lauren Oakley
Lauren May Oakley (born 28 February 1991) is an English professional dancer and choreographer, best known for appearing as a professional on the BBC One television series Strictly Come Dancing.

Lauren's facts and stats
- Lauren joined Strictly in 2022 (S20) but did not have a celebrity partner in her first series
- As part of It Takes Two’s 2023 Pro Challenge, Lauren broke the world record for the most pendulum dance steps in 30 seconds (15) and took home the coveted Guinness World Record for her achievement
- A very successful run in S24 with JB Gill (following Amy’s withdrawal) sees Lauren take the top spot for overall average score for female pros – 33.22
- Lauren is the only female pro so far to have performed a perfect Viennese Waltz, with JB in the S24 Final
- Lauren has the highest average score (36) of female pros for Speciality dances. It seems Speciality routines are her speciality!
- She is the second female pro to have danced a perfect Salsa (with JB in S22’s Semi-Final, the first was Karen Hardy with Mark Ramprakash in S4) and a perfect Samba (with JB in S22’s Final, the first was Oti with Danny Mac in S14)
