Strictly predictions game – The final scores on the doors
18 December 2024After 12 weeks of predictions, we have our very own winner in James. Well done to James – like Chris in the ballroom he’s been the frontrunner in this competition since Week 4, and despite a late surge into form from fellow StrictlyDB-er Matt (a bit like JB ) James has wiped the dancefloor with the rest of the team and achieved three perfect predictions and a total score of 67.
Steve was thwarted in his quest to prove that someone who has never watched Strictly could out-predict the uber-nerds who make up the rest of the StrictlyDB team, but we hope he had fun along the way – we certainly did. And, in case you’re wondering, no we have not YET persuaded him to watch a show…there’s always next year!
All that remains to say is a huge congratulations to 2024’s winners, Chris & Dianne – an exceptional partnership with an extraordinary bond whose message of “anything is possible” inspired us all.
Predictions & scores
As it was for Chris & Dianne, the Final proved the best week of our predictions competition for the team here – with 3 of us (James, Steve and Liv) achieving a perfect score of 7; this was for predicting Tasha to be top of the judges’ leaderboard (2 points), Chris to be bottom (2 points) and Chris to win (2 points), with a bonus point added for 3 correct predictions.
Matt scored 4 – 2 for choosing JB to top and 2 for saying Chris would win, though he lost out for predicting Sarah would be bottom.
Predictions leaderboard
Here’s how it ended up looking – and sadly for those of us at the bottom – there’s no public vote to turn this leaderboard upside down.

Fancy playing next year?
Have you been playing along this series? If you have – did you beat James? However well you did, we hope you enjoyed playing and we’re excited to announce that next year we’re planning to launch an online version of the game for you to play with friends, family and other Strictly fans (including us if you want to!).
We’ll share more news about the game as we develop it and may even ask some of you to test it for us if you would be so kind to help out. Watch this space. In the meantime, thanks for reading, watching and playing and we can’t wait to get more players involved next Series.
