Heather Small
Heather Marguerita Small (born 20 January 1965) is an English soul and dance‑pop singer best known as the lead vocalist of the British group M People, who achieved global success in the 1990s with hits such as Moving on Up, One Night in Heaven and Search for the Hero. With M People she sold over ten million albums worldwide and earned multiple awards, including Brit Awards for Best British Dance Act. Small launched a solo career in 2000 with her debut album Proud, whose title track became an anthem for Team GB and has featured in major events including the 2012 London Olympic bid and The Oprah Winfrey Show.
